Offline mode allows Sangho terminals to keep accepting payments even without an internet connection. Transactions are stored locally and synchronized automatically as soon as the connection is restored.

How it works

• The terminal detects the loss of connectivity
• Payments are accepted and stored locally (AES-256 encryption)
• A maximum delay of 24h is applied in offline mode
• Upon reconnection, transactions are synchronized automatically
• In case of a conflict (e.g. a cancellation in the meantime), the merchant is notified

Attention

In offline mode, fraud risks are higher. A cap of 50,000 XAF per transaction is automatically applied.
