Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Sangho supports two 2FA methods to secure your account:
| Method | Compatibility | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| SMS | Verified phone number | Standard |
| Verified email address | Basic | |
| TOTP / Authenticator App | Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password | Recommended |
| Fingerprint / Biometrics | Face ID, Touch ID, Android Biometrics, Windows Hello | Secure |
| Security Key | YubiKey, Google Titan, WebAuthn / FIDO2 | Very Secure |
| Sangho App | Sangho proprietary mobile app | Alternative |
| Recovery Codes | Single-use backup codes | Generate |
Backup Codes
When enabling 2FA, Sangho generates 8 single-use backup codes. Keep them in a safe place — they allow you to recover access if you lose your 2FA device.
Enterprise SSO (SAML2)
Growth and higher plans can configure enterprise SSO via SAML2. This option delegates authentication to your identity provider (Okta, Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace).
SSO is only available on plans above Starter.
Session Management
From Settings → Security → Active Sessions, you can view all connected devices and remotely revoke suspicious sessions.
Data Models
| Model | Table | Description |
|---|---|---|
| User | auth_user | Main user account |
| WebAuthnCredential | dashboard_webauthncredential | Registered WebAuthn keys |
| RecoveryCode | dashboard_recoverycode | 2FA backup codes |
| SSOConfiguration | dashboard_ssoconfiguration | Enterprise SAML2 config |
| UserSession | dashboard_usersession | Active sessions |
Enabling 2FA is mandatory.
