PayPal
Sangho’s PayPal integration lets your customers pay from their PayPal account. Ideal for merchants who want to accept international payments.
Activation
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Payment methods
- Click PayPal → Activate
- Authorize the connection with your PayPal Business account
- The method is active immediately
Payment process
- 1. The buyer clicks “Pay with PayPal”
- 2. A PayPal window opens for authentication
- 3. The buyer approves the payment
- 4. Funds are transferred to your Sangho account immediately

payment_intent.succeededwebhook is triggered
Supported currencies
PayPal supports most world currencies. For payments in XAF, an automatic conversion is applied based on PayPal’s exchange rate at the time.

Note
In Sandbox, test PayPal accounts are created automatically in your PayPal Developer dashboard. No additional steps are required.
